Science Fair Project Outline and Due Dates
This year, the
Science Department at Phoebus High School is excited to present our 2011-12
Science Fair. This year, students in science
honors classes will be developing science investigation projects as a part of
our PHS Science Fair Kick Off. The
students will need to pay careful attention to the following timetable and due
dates to successfully complete the project.
October 11 and 12 Science Project Topic and Purpose Due
October 27 and 28 Science Project Research Plan Due
November 4 and 7 Experimental Design
November 7 - 28 Experimentation
December 7 and 8 Powerpoint/Paper Due
Categories: Life Science (plants, animals, humans etc.), General Science
(physics, chemistry, Earth science, ecology etc.), Consumer Science (product
testing)
On the next link is a sheet describing the project and each item that
must be included. Students will be
expected to have their projects structured in this format.
The STUDENT should have complete ownership of his/her project and
make all final decisions about what the project will include. However, your support, guidance and
encouragement will be very helpful.
